At our AGM on 23rd July we announced that we would restart our Sunday morning and off-road club rides. The committee have set specific guidance for signing up for a ride so that we comply with current advice for group numbers and social distancing during the activity.
We hope to be able to be able to resume the Saturday morning rides soon as well.
See our 'News' page for further information where you will also find a link to download the guidance.
From our Club Constitution:
"Membership of the Club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport on application regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs."
Woking Cycling Club aims to provide a safe and enjoyable cycling experience for those living in and around our area. We also like to encourage more people to cycle by offering a range of group rides of varying pace and distance. There's something for everyone from beginners to experienced riders. We have around 250 members and about a third of them are women. That's a good ratio compared to other clubs.
We aim to offer a friendly and informal atmosphere whilst making sure the club and its members are protected by our constitution and club rules.
We are affiliated to British Cycling, Cycling UK and Cycling Time Trials which gives our members numerous benefits as well as supporting the continued success of cycling in the UK.
We provide weekly road rides every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, (weather permitting) as well as offering MTB and Adventure rides. We also run Go-Ride sessions for budding young cyclists to have fun whilst learning new skills.
We hope to ride with you soon. In the meantime have a look around this site and check out our Club Handbook.
